  • Where is the reception taking place?
    All festivities are taking place at the Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel in Can Tho Vietnam
  • Where can I stay?

    Pending availability, the best place to stay is at the Hotel, we will be hosting the reception in Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel.

    However there are plenty of other options available in the city of Can Tho, we would recommend the following:

  • What is the currency in Vietnam? Do i have the exchange money?
    The official currency of Vietnam is the Vietnamese Dong (VND). The approximate exchange rate is 1 USD = 25,000 VND.

    Exchange rates fluctuate daily. We strongly recommend exchanging money before your trip since credit card acceptance is limited in Vietnam.
  • What is the weather in Vietnam? How should I pack?
    Vietnam has a warm tropical climate. During August, you can expect average temperatures between 75°F - 85°F (24°C - 29°C). Don't worry about the heat - air conditioning is readily available throughout Vietnam to keep you comfortable.
  • Will my phone work in Vietnam?

    Depending on your phone plan you may already have International Service included, please check with your cell provider for more details.

    If you are know you do not have international service, or want to be extra prepared, you can use an service like Saily to have a global e-sim downloaded on your phone and have international service.

  • How can I get to Vietnam?

    The two closest airports to our venue are Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho International Airport (VCA) in Can Tho.

    While Can Tho has an international airport, it's relatively small with limited flight connections. We recommend flying into Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) as it offers many more flight options and better transportation links.

    Since you'll be traveling such a long distance, we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to explore Southeast Asia before or after the wedding.

  • What documents do I need to travel to Vietnam?

    In addition to your passport, you will need to apply for a Visitor Visa from the Vietnam Government. This is done online and more information can be found here.

    Alternatively, you could use an online service such as Atlys, who will handle the paperwork for you, and simplifies the process.

  • I arrived in Vietnam, how do I get to the hotel?
    When you submit your RSVP, please provide your flight arrival details for Vietnam. We will coordinate transportation arrangements from the airport for all guests who share their travel plans with us.
  • How do I travel around?

    One of the easiest ways to travel short distance in Vietnam is to use the Grab App, this is very much like Uber or Lyft in the United States.

    You can also schedule vans, and other services to travel around, we can assist with any scheduling.
